There is a common phenomenon in material storage vessels in which silos get blocked due to hard material build-up. This is caused by moisture in material, limited preventative maintenance and other causes.
Our professional unblocking method uses High-Pressure Discharge (Cardox) which breaks and loosens all hard material without damaging the storage structure. Our technicians are highly experienced in use of High-Pressure Discharge (Cardox) where all safe measures are put to use in all operations.
We use three methods of cleaning. Bottom to Top is done using our High-Pressure Discharge equipment. Top to Bottom is where we use our hydraulic silo/bin whip which is operated whilst mounted on silo top. Thirdly we have a competent team of Rope Access operators whom we engage in scenarios that require vessel entry for manual cleaning.
